THINGS TO DO
Levitate at Ramgarh is designed to provide Rest and Rejuvenation in the serene surrounding of nature so it is a great idea to just laze around and read a book at any of the perfect little private spots. For the more active and adventurous there is plenty to do in terms of taking one of the nature trails or even do an easy to medium level trek through the dense forest around. Do let the resort staff know about your preferences and they can provide you with a route map for the same.
Bird Watching
Since Ramgarh is considered the fruit bowl of the Kumaon region, it attracts a large number of it is considered a heaven for bird watchers and there are many species of birds that can be seen in and around there sort including spotted fork-tail, plum headed parakeets, bulbuls, mynahs, and pipits,
Shopping
There is plenty to buy from the fair trade shops. Kilmora and Panchachuli are the two shops run by local NGO’s which sells locally produced woolens, shawls, stoles herbs etc sourced directly from farmers thereby generating income for the local families involved. Paragliding at
Star Gazing
Ramgarh may not be on the official list of ‘top 5 places in India for gazing at the Stars but on a clear night the skies can be absolutely amazing. All you need is a DSLR camera or download the Google Sky map App on your phone and soon you will be able to identify the different stars, constellations and even the milky way!
Naukuchiyatal
Naukuchiyatal is the “Para-Glider’s Paradise’ and its located about 32 kilometers from the resort and makes for a great day trip. Naukuchiyatal is great for all those who desire to fly and soar high in the sky like a bird. The perfect time/ season to do Paragliding in Naukuchiyatal is March – June and October – December
